Bobbie Denny Bobbie Denny has been Director and Law Librarian since 1996 for the Fairfax Public Law Library in Fairfax, Virginia. She has also been an Attorney-at-law since 1978 in the County of Fairfax, Virginia. Ms. Denny received her MSLS from Catholic University in Washington, DC; her JD from the American University, Washington, DC; and her MEd and BS from the University of Illinois in Urbana, Illinois. She has previously worked as a Math/science/art teacher, guidance counselor, and school administrator. Projects she has worked on include the Public Television program "Offering the Law to All," in 1998; Survey of Public Law Libraries in Virginia, 1997; and Legislative efforts to improve public law library funding in Virginia, 1997-2000. Her publications and presentations include: "Who Provides Your Legal Information?" Virginia Lawyer, 1999; "Fairfax Public Law Library Pro Se Workstations," Virginia Lawyer, 2000; "Legal Research Using Books and CALR," Fairfax County School Teacher Training, 1997-1999; "The Future of Law Libraries," Virginia State Bar Leadership Institute, 2000; "Tax Law on the Internet," continuing legal education presentation for Virginia attorneys, 2001; "Researching Employment Law on the Internet," Fairfax Bar Association pro bono attorney seminar, 2001; and "Finding Legal Forms and Sample Legal Documents," Virginia Library Association fall conference, 2001.
