David M. Guernsey currently serves as President and CEO of Guernsey Office Products, Inc.; a family owned business (since 1917) that operates primarily in the mid-Atlantic region. The Guernsey organization, one of the largest office products resellers in the U.S., provides its business customers with office furnishings, supplies and related services.

In addition, David Guernsey serves as director and Vice Chairman of the Virginia Commerce Bank (VCBI) and director of Comstock Homebuilding Companies (CHCI), two locally headquartered public companies.

Community service roles Guernsey has held include Chairman, Arlington Chamber (1985) and Chairman of the Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce (2000). He currently serves on the board of several local organizations and chairs the Northern Virginia Transportation Alliance. Most recently he joined the board of Community Residences, Inc.

A few exampled of the many awards Guernsey has received in his business career would be Community Trustee (LFI, Northern Virginia Leadership Award), Torch of Liberty Award (ADL, Office Products Industry) and Virginia’s Small Business Person of the Year Award (SBA).

Guernsey lives in Clifton, Virginia with his wife, Diane, and daughter, Savannah.
