John C. Wright
John C. Wright was interviewed for BookCast by Fairfax County Public Library Director Sam Clay.
John C. Wright has written seven books in three sci-fi or fantasy series. His first book, The Golden Age, was published in 2002, followed by The Phoenix Exultant and The Golden Transcendence. His second series includes: The Last Guardian of Everness, followed by Mists of Everness. Books in his most recent series are Orphans of Chaos and Fugitives of Chaos. His eighth book is Titans of Chaos.
Wright lives in Centreville, VA with his wife, science fiction writer L. Jagi Lamplighter, and three children. A graduate of St. John's College in Annapolis, Wright is a retired lawyer, newspaper writer and editor turned sci-fi and fantasy writer.
After The Golden Age was published, Publishers Weekly called Wright, "this fledgling century's most important new SF talent." Orphans of Chaos was a finalist for the Nebula Award.
