Michael Scheuer

Scheuer is a veteran CIA counterterrorism analyst and the author of the recent book Marching Toward Hell: America and Islam after Iraq,as well as the best-seller Imperial Hubris and Through our Enemies’ Eyes: Osama bin Laden, Radical Islam and the Future of America.
Scheuer resigned from the CIA in 2004 after the publication of the 9/11 Commission Report. He has written a number of articles on Al Qaeda and teaches a course on the group at Georgetown University. He is an analyst for CBS News.
