“I am extremely excited and honored to serve as the Treasurer of the Fairfax County Public Library Foundation,” says Armstrong. “The Foundation serves a vital role within our community by enhancing traditional funding sources for the Library fueling valuable programs, new resource materials, literacy outreach and technology tools. I look forward to working with the Board of Directors, as well as volunteers and staff, on these important initiatives in the year ahead.”
The board welcomes three first time Directors, including Duwain Ketch of the Burke Centre Library and Kings Park Library Friends; Paula Koeck-Gomez, Chevy Chase Bank’s Vice President of Private Banking; and Vice President of Marketing for Cox Communications, Mark Snow.
