Gretchen began her career on Capitol Hill working for Congressman John T. Doolittle (R-CA) as a Staff Assistant and then as a Legislative Assistant handling a variety of social and financial issues.

Her fundraising career began in 1996 as Finance Director to Judge Linda Wilde in her bid for California's 42nd Congressional seat.

In 1997, Gretchen served as Finance Director for Coleman Andrews for Lieutenant Governor and, following his withdrawal from the race, John Hager for Lieutenant Governor. John Hager's campaign broke the record for the most money raised for a Republican Lieutenant Governor's campaign in Virginia.

In addition, she worked on many key Delegate races across the Commonwealth including Majority Leader Morgan Griffith and Chairman of the House Appropriations Committee, Vince Callahan.

In May of 2002, Gretchen founded TC Consulting and is focusing on fundraising for candidates and organizations, political affairs, and event planning. Some of these efforts include major donor fundraising for the Susan B. Anthony List, Northern Virginia Transportation Alliance and Virginia Conservative Action PAC.

In 2004 and into 2005, she will be focusing on Virginia's statewide elections. Gretchen will be managing the Northern Virginia fundraising operations for Attorney General Jerry Kilgore's campaign for Governor, Senator Bill Bolling for Lieutenant Governor and Steve Baril for Attorney General. In addition, Gretchen serves as part of the Advance team for Vice President Dick Cheney.

Gretchen received her bachelor of arts in Government at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. Outside of the office, Gretchen serves on the Board of Directors of The Angels Network and the Fairfax Library Foundation.
